JUDY G.
SEALE
As President and CEO of Judy Seale International, Judy entered the
music industry not as an entertainer but as one of the first
producers of Alabama’s largest fund-raising events, the George
Lindsey Celebrity Golf Tournament and Concert for Special Children.
Generating over one million dollars for the Alabama Special Olympics
program during her tenure, Judy later moved to Tulsa to work with
Roy Clark’s benefit golf tournament and concert for the Children’s
Medical Center. Shortly afterwards, she joined the Jim Halsey
Company in Tulsa and was eventually relocated with the company to
Nashville. Her competence, capabilities and dependability with the
Halsey Company ultimately led to the title of Executive
Vice-President in charge of day-to-day operations and international
touring.
In 1990, Judy partnered with Refugee Management
International where she co-managed the careers of Jo Dee Messina,
Jolie Edwards, River Road, Holly Dunn, the Forester Sisters, George
"Goober" Lindsey, Minnie Pearl, the Texas Tornados, and the Desert
Rose Band. Since establishing JSI (www.judysealeinternational.com),
management clients have included Jolie Edwards, Pat Boone, the
Bellamy Brothers and John Adam Murph. She currently coordinates all
international tours for the Bellamy Brothers and Mark Chesnutt and
orchestrates the only country music festival in Japan. She is talent
coordinator for numerous festivals throughout Europe and Asia. Her
many international tour achievements include production of the
"first" country events in Japan, Hong Kong, Brazil, Thailand, and
Argentina. Since 1987, she has produced more than 350
international tours and festivals featuring country music, rock, and
classic rock artists.
With the launch of JSI, Judy established a partnership with
advertising and marketing agency Kennedy Entertainment in St. Louis.
Their first joint venture resulted in a 2002 Tour Sponsorship with
IBC Root beer for popular country music artist Mark Wills.
Her charitable endeavors include soliciting artists to perform for
the U.S. military based throughout the world. These military tours
have provided welcomed entertainment for troops serving in the
conflicts in Haiti, Bosnia, Macedonia, Afghanistan, Kuwait,
Uzbekistan, Iraq, Qatar, Djbouti and Kosovo to name only a few as
well as Christmas Tours for troops away from family and friends
while based in remote locations during the holidays. Since the
theatre of conflict began in Iraq in 2003, Judy has escorted artists
into that region 35 times. Since 1991, she has participated in more
than 85 tours dedicated to entertaining our troops stationed
overseas.
Seale recently realized the fulfillment of a
long-time dream with the launch of a new venture -- “Stars
for Stripes”. The non-profit
organization provides quality entertainment to internationally
deployed U.S. military forces, promotes patriotism and civic pride
among the troops and educates the general public regarding various
aspects of United States military history and engagement. (www.starsforstripes.com).
The Country Music Association recognized her abilities in 1998 when
she was awarded the prestigious “Jo Walker-Meador International
Achievement Award” and again in 2003 when she was presented the “CMA
International Talent Buyer/Promoter of the Year Award”. In
2008, Judy was announced as an Ambassador and awarded the
International Country Music Day award from the International Country
Music Day Organization as well as being presented with the Greek
Country Music Association award for Best International Country Music
Personality at the 6th Annual Country Music Festival Athens.
Judy was the Executive
Producer for the GAC's TV Special "Stars for Stripes: Wounded
Warriors Return", the story of 2 wounded heroes returning to Iraq
after being injured in the war. In August 2010 she received
the 'Communicator Award' and two 'Telly Awards' for her role as
Executive Producer for the "Stars for Stripes: Wounded
Warriors Return" Special. The Telly Awards honor the very best
in local, regional, and cable commercials and programs, as well as
the finest video and film productions.
The feature was also nominated for a
Regional Emmy in 2010. Seale served as a member of the
Executive Committee for the Hook, Line, and Singer Tournament, which
benefited St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Operation Yellow Ribbon
at Lipscomb University which provides educational opportunities for
veterans.
